About Laura
Laura holds accredited registrant membership with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, as well being as a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and ensures her work adheres to their ethical frameworks and best practice guidelines.
Her humanistic training enables her to provide an accepting, non-judgemental environment in which you can explore your emotions and make sense of yourself and your place in the world. Alongside this she draws upon CBT techniques and psychodynamic therapy to help you to work towards your therapeutic aims.
She has experience of working with both adolescents and adults, helping them with a range of issues including relationship breakdowns, career changes, depression and anxiety. She has also worked with clients who have received ADHD and/or ASD diagnoses, helping them to process the impact of this on their lives. However, Laura believes that no two clients are the same and as such her approach is always personalised to the individual she is working with.
Laura believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client and as such offers a free 30 minute online or telephone consultation in which you can explore how you might work together.
